 RESCHEDULED  Dixieland Jazz Concert
(4-6pm)- The Dixie Dogs


RESCHEDULED - STAY TUNED FOR NEW DATE AND TIME.  Enjoy the lively jazz sounds of The Dixie Dogs! The Dixie Dog's are a seven-piece band that plays the kind of traditional jazz that put New Orleans and Chicago on the world's musical map. This concert is free and is the first of five concerts that will be held at the Glen. Bring your chair, spread out your blanket, and relax. Food is available for purchase from food trucks for those that wish to skip the dishes.




7/15 Youth Rock Concert  CANCELED  
(6-8pm)-School of Rock House Band

Enjoy the energetic rock sounds of the Glen Ellyn youth School of Rock House Band! For over a decade, School of Rock has taught guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and keys through an innovative performance-based method. Students are put through a series of private lessons and group rehearsals and then get to show off what they learn on real rock stages to real rock audiences. This concert is free and is part of the Concerts at the Glen series. Bring your chair, spread out your blanket, and be ready to rock! Food is available for purchase from food trucks for those that wish to skip the dishes.

8/7 Irish/Bluegrass Concert
(4-6pm)-Bluegrass Tuba Kings

Enjoy the unique sounds of Irish & Bluegrass with a tuba twist! The historic, earth shaking debut of the Bluegrass Tuba Kings occurred on August 2nd, 2020 at Park Plaza in West Rogers Park. The band is fronted by guitar/mandolin/banjo master and singer Gus Friedlander. On harmonica, Penney whistle, pan pipes, and other cool stuff, the virtuoso bluegrass and Irish musician James Conway. On fiddle, the incomparable Rick Veras. For a little crazy novelty, the bass line is provided on tuba (!) by Roger. This concert is free and is part of the Concerts at the Glen series. 9/18 Big Band Concert 
 (4-6pm)-The Chicago Outskirts 

Enjoy the big band sounds of The Outskirts! The Chicago Outskirts is a seventeen piece jazz ensemble comprised entirely of women from the Chicago area. The main purpose of forming the band was to give women jazz musicians in the area more opportunity to play big band jazz. This concert is free and is part of the Concerts at the Glen series. Bring your chair, spread out your blanket, and be ready to relax. Food is available for purchase for those that wish to skip the dishes.

8/21 Polka Concert
(4-6pm)-The Rogers Happy Seven

Enjoy the sounds of Polka! Roger's Happy Seven is a German band for Oktoberfest or all year round. Two clarinets, a trumpet, trombone, and tuba playing the good old German drinking songs to put you in that Oktoberfest mood! This concert is free and is part of the Concerts at the Glen series. Bring your chair, spread out your blanket, and be ready to “umpa” with the band! Food is available for purchase from food trucks for those that wish to skip the dishes.
